Nathalia Moonen

Nathalia Moonen – Budhi Nugroho (Lo Swie Iem), is trained as a chemical engineer at the Institut Teknologi Bandung. After graduating, she moved to the Netherlands and continued her studies at the Eramus University in Rotterdam, where she obtained her MBA. She has worked for many Dutch companies and institutions as a consultant for twenty years.

Initially, she focused on the formal processes and control principles of the organisations. Gradually, her interest shifted towards the individuals working in these organisations, their drivers and the interpersonal dynamics. As a result of this interest, she trained and became a qualified coach at the School of Coaching in Leiden (The Netherlands).

Her experiences taught her that the unconscious processes plays a major role when people are suffering from serious blocks in their behaviour, feelings and development. Thus, in her search for more insight into issues that involve the unconscious, Nathalia discovered the teachings of Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist and pupil of Freud. Jung’s work has inspired her to embark upon a five-year training course at the Jungian Institute S.U.W. in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) to become an Analytical Therapist. She became a qualified Jungian Analytical Therapist in 2008.

In 2010, after several years of working successfully as a therapist in The Netherlands, Nathalia decided to move to Malaysia. Here, in Kuala Lumpur, she is continuing her work as an Analytical Therapist while still supporting clients in the Netherlands on a periodic basis.
